A message from the PTA president...
Lewis Students and Families:
Happy February! 2012 is well underway and it looks like the spring semester is going to be just as fun as the fall at Lewis Elementary.
Thank you to all those who joined us at Skateplex in January. We had many students, families, and even teachers on the rink for a fun-filled Lewis Skate night! Please make plans to join us for another exciting event later this month. Our PTA General Assembly meeting will take place on February 23rd. You don't want to miss this special night of food, fun, and Mad Science! Please send in your dinner reservations today.
We are forming our Nominating Committee to start recruiting for PTA board positions next year. If you or someone you know is interested in a PTA board position, please email me: president@lewispta.com.
Finally, I want to encourage each of you to nominate a special teacher for the Lauren Daly Moon Heart of Lewis award. This program was started to recognize an amazing Lewis staff member for going above and beyond, while at the same time, remembering a special Lewis teacher who is longer with us.
